Getting Ready for the Race 10/19/2009
I've been seeing more and more billboards and posters for the Marseille-Cassis Classique that's coming up this Sunday. To be honest, it came a lot faster than I was expecting. I got off my training schedule a bit with the trip to London at all, but nonetheless I think I'll have a lot of fun. Today I went out and did a 9 mile run, so I think i'll be able to do another 3 1/2 with no problem. (though the race will be pretty hilly...) Anyway, felt pretty good running that far today and it was my longest run to date so I'm happy. Other than that, not a whole lot exciting going on here. I've been busy with school again - lots of projects to work on. On Saturday, a friend and I went out to run a hill we usually do near here. While we were at the top we spotted another hill on the other side of the road that looked like it would give a great view of the city. We decided to try to get to the top (not as easy as it looked) and finally made it only to find the view blocked by trees. Bummer. Then we saw another one a little further that looked promising, We made our way to the top of it and it really was an amazing view. I'll definitely be going back with a camera at some point because it was basically an unobstructed 360 degree view of Marseille. Awesome! Anyway, hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon! -Chris CommentsLeave a Reply | ArchivesJune 2010 Categories |
